Engale finally finished paying the guards up to keep the city safe. He started to get a few new guards into training then no information came from him.
If it hadn’t been the Engale kept disappearing for long spats in the past the queen might have thought he’d had been eaten by a dragon, this was not the case. Sasha, the only one left with a link to Engale, could feel him still alive.
But there was nagging all the time with that connection, while it was there, it was more like a busy signal, no an answering machine, Engale was alive, but he wasn’t there.
